History
Time refuses to stand still. KOMA was recognized as an important innovator right from the earliest beginnings. The production division and the sales and service divisions expanded rapidly during those early years. And the fact is that right from that time on, convincing innovations and highly specialised solutions to specific problems in the cold technology field were never conspicuous by their absence.
So it was that the internationally protected "H-80/20-system" turned into the breakthrough par excellence that gave KOMA its name internationally and made the longed for growth possible. Multiple tens of thousands of these systems are now in use worldwide. In the 1970s KOMA went on to optimise the dough conditioning process. The consequences of that breakthrough for the craftsman were fundamental. There was worldwide recognition and appreciation.
KOMA's innovating preservation and conditioning technologies make production processes efficient and above all economically sound. Both the employer and his employee are served by that. Making use of an innovative style of decisiveness and energy, KOMA creates a socioeconomic reality that serves both traditional and industrial bakers and foodstuffs producers.
KOMA systems and installations are in operation worldwide, on all continents. KOMA is internationally recognized for the high degree of innovation and quality that it personifies. KOMA has become a concept. It is our intention to preserve that good name and reputation. Under our motto "The World is our Workspace" we can justifiably look forward to the future with confidence!
The first export deliveries dated from 1956. After that, international expansion took off and propelled itself forwards without a break. The factors that determined KOMA's international success to an important extent were our long years of experience and our recognized expertise.
This rapid growth resulted throughout the world in the opening of wholly owned KOMA branches; first in Belgium and Germany, then in France and Japan and slightly later in Great Britain, Spain, Italy and Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
KOMA also became represented all over the world by excellent dealers who followed their training courses at the Group's head office in Roermond and then went on to undertake additional training on a regular basis to keep up to date with the rapidly changing world of cold technology and preservation techniques.
